Sapah Malawm, the Deep Treasure

It is just an annex primary school since many years ago. Any visitor can reach the school by any land transportation vehicle covering the distance of more or less 16 kilometers away from the town of Jolo. It on the roadside of Indanan-Parang National Highway. It is the last school of Indanan South District towards Parang Municipality and stayed longer as annex primary school of Pasil Elementary School except when Nalda J. Muksan, currently Elementary School Principal I of Langpas Elementary School was installed as TIC in 2007. Mrs. Muksan increased the grade levels into 4 by way of opening grade 4 classes and she herself was the adviser. Sapah Malaw Primary School appeared as main campus overseen her annex Sapie Primary School.

'Sapah' means rive' and 'malawm' means'deep. In short Sapah Malawm means deep river. It is located in Barangay Sapah Malawm, Indanan, Sulu. As clearly seen, the name of the school comes after the name of her barangay led by Alano Palahuddin. It is really a deep treasure in a sense that every teacher installed as TIC in it would become great school administrator someday. Presently, I, Faijal I. Andan is the Teacher In-Charge also overseeing and handling Kindergarten Adviser in Sapie Primary School. In the meantime, here I am installed As TIC of Sapah Malawm since last January, 2016 by virtue of designation order signed by the Public Schools District Supervisor, Samoore S. Ladjahali. Later, Dr. John A. Magno, Regional Secretary of DepED-ARMM approved my district designation order by releasing Regional Order recognizing me as Teacher In-Charge of the schools.
